NON-TOXIC. SUSTAINABLE. RESPONSIBLE.

Floors for a lifetime

We’re rooted in Scandinavian sustainability practices. That means building floors that last 100 years, certified against the toughest environmental and indoor air quality restrictions in the world.

Strong forests

Forests are not only majestic, they can teach us so much about how to create a happy, healthy future by building systems that can truly sustain us. This is why our floors are created in a way that treats forests with deep respect, supporting long-term ecological balance through responsible forestry.

Safe materials

We believe healthy indoor environments are as important as healthy outdoor environments. Many engineered floors are constructed with low-quality, toxic glues and finishes. Not ours. Breathe easy knowing that your Stuga floor will be one of the safest materials in your home.

Clean factories

Our main Swedish factory is a world-renowned climate-positive flooring factory, meaning it produces more energy than it consumes. Workers are paid a real living wage and all wood waste is recycled into biofuel, used to reheat the factory and homes in the village of Nybro, Sweden.

WE SPEND 90% OF OUR LIVES INDOORS.

A thoughtfully-designed home is essential to our health & wellbeing.

Wood for wellbeing: The power of biophilic design

Wood interiors calm us for a reason – they appeal to our preference for the natural world. Here’s why, according to science, humans prefer natural materials and “biophilic” design.

ENVIRONMENTAL & AIR QUALITY CERTIFICATIONS

The most certified floors in the world

Our floors are held to strict European standards for environmental responsibility and indoor air quality. Our acrylic finishes have been solvent-free since 1984, before sustainability was a buzzword. None of our floors contain added formaldehyde. Rest easy that they'll be among the lowest-emitting products in your home.
