Chris and Julia Marcum of Chris Loves Julia inspire design-lovers everywhere to love where they live. The result is Faye, named after their middle daughter, a versatile classic for homes of any style.
Denmark is home to a wealth of fairy tales, thanks mostly to world-famous author Hans Christian Andersen. From The Snow Queen to The Little Mermaid, Andersen’s tales have sparked imagination and wonder for centuries after their publication.
Beginning life in the enchanting forests of Sweden, Faye tells its own story through swirling grain patterns and subtle knots. Its ultra-matte acrylic finish retains the texture of the wood below, creating a connection to nature with every step. A balanced, mid-tone brown hue brings instant warmth and life to any space.
Each plank is 6” wide and 78 ¾" long, so you never have to settle for short boards or random lengths, ever. Enjoy the look of long, full-length boards throughout your home.

Refreshingly matte finish
Minimal in look but mighty in performance. With Faye's ultra-matte acrylic urethane, you get the natural, raw look and feel of oiled wood without the maintenance. This solvent-free finish will not yellow over time and is easy to recoat.

European white oak
Faye's mid-tone brown stain adds charming depth to the oak's natural hue. Known as the “king of oaks”, European oak is prized for its steadfast lumber and magnificent form. This layer is thick enough for two sandings.

Clever locking system
Faye's secure locking system minimizes seasonal gapping. When locked together, the planks' connection is strong enough to hang a car from. It makes installation a breeze — and, dare we say, fun? This floor can be floated, stapled, or glued down.

Pine core
Fast-growing, sustainable, and porous pine strips that expand and contract individually, protecting the top layer of wood. Invented in 1941, this construction is the gold standard in Europe. It’s been performing for lifetimes, which is why we can offer a lifetime warranty.

Spruce backing
Laid opposite the middle layer of pine, it counteracts movement while absorbing moisture from below, the most common cause of damage to wood floors.
