A sister floor to our best seller Ingrid, Greta is an instant Scandinavian classic wide plank floor. Named after trailblazing Swedish actress Greta Garbo, this white oak floor is understated and subdued, yet incredibly powerful and elegant. It possesses the same ultra matte acrylic finish as Ingrid, but its stain is a shade lighter, adding a refreshing element to any space. Greta can have color variation from board to board including red boards and darker boards in addition to some knots. It's very similar in character to Fika.
No random lengths, ever. Each plank is 7 ⅜” wide and 95 ¼" long. Enjoy the look of long, full-length boards throughout your home.

01
Refreshingly matte finish
Minimal in look but mighty in performance. With Greta's ultra-matte acrylic urethane, you get the natural, raw look and feel of oiled wood without the maintenance. This solvent-free finish will not yellow over time and is easy to recoat.
02
European white oak
Naturally beautiful, white oak’s understated elegance makes it a designer favorite. It’s thick enough for two sandings, just in case you want to refinish it down the road. Known as the “king of oaks”, European oak is prized for its steadfast lumber and magnificent form.
03
Clever locking system
Greta's secure locking system minimizes seasonal gapping. When locked together, the planks' connection is strong enough to hang a car from. It makes installation a breeze — and, dare we say, fun? This floor can be floated, stapled, or glued down.
04
Pine core
Fast-growing, sustainable, and porous pine strips that expand and contract individually, protecting the top layer of wood. Invented in 1941, this construction is the gold standard in Europe. It’s been performing for lifetimes, which is why we can offer a lifetime warranty.
05
Spruce backing
Laid opposite the middle layer of pine, it counteracts movement while absorbing moisture from below, the most common cause of damage to wood floors.
