This floor brings the beauty of a silvery moonlit night to life. With a clean, grey-white tone and oak planks that create long uninterrupted lines underfoot, Moonlight shines with a soft modernity. Just like the moon, the surface has some character, with brushing to enhance the oak’s natural character and occasional small knots dotting the boards, but no visible cracks are present. And like the most peaceful nights, it is muted and simple in its beauty.

Watch our customers install Moonlight.

No random lengths. Each plank is 5” wide and 73 ¼" long. Enjoy the look of long, full length boards throughout your floor.

It felt like such an impossible feat to get to a place where the flooring was consistent, but Stuga made it impossibly easy.

Moonlight FAQ's

Overall it's a calming floor with light expression. Roughly 20-30% of the planks will possess a knot or two, with some rare, short cracks (2-4" maximum) presenting themselves at the ends of a plank. Some planks do possess cathedral graining which accentuates nature's hand. We do not consider this to be a high color variation floor.

Not at all. Vacuuming and the occasional dust mop cleaning is all that's needed.

Yes!

Absolutely! This floor performs wonderfully in any area of the home except a full bath.

Absolutely! This floor performs wonderfully in any area of the home except a full bath.

We recommend using oils by Rubio Monocoat for minor touch ups. The Rubio color we use is named White. Small sample bottles can be purchased at various website if needed. Unfortunately, we do not sell their touch up oils at this time.

Yes, two times. The likelihood of you ever needing to sand/refinish your floor is very low. The likelihood of you sanding your floor twice is essentially zero. The main reasons for sanding/refinishing your floors is if they've been heavily neglected and abused to the point of severe damage, or if you wish to change the color. But, sleep peacefully knowing that these floors will last a lifetime for you or the next owners of your space.

We don't consider this to be a high contrast floor. Boards can vary between muted white to a very soft cream with grey undertones. This adds an subtle organic movement to the floor which is quite calming.

It's made in Europe.
