Flush Nosing Edge Cap

$170.00

Made from flooring, these Flush Nosing Edge Caps

cover the exposed edge of a stringer or landing when installing Flush Nosings. They are to be installed together with Flush Nosings on an open stringer only and cannot be used on closed stringer staircases. The edges are slightly eased and finished to protect against wear and tear. They do not sit flush with the drywall, but overhang about 5/8" or 1/2" depending on the floor.

Each nosing is custom-made with a lead time of approximately five weeks. This product ships separately from your floor.

**These nosings cover the exposed edge of a stringer or landing only when used together with the Flush Nosing. They cannot be used on the front edge of a stair tread and do not lock into our floor planks.

**If a floor is sold out, the lead time on nosing is approximately 4-5 weeks from when the floor is back in stock.**

Flush Nosing Edge Cap FAQ's

Our stair nosings are made to order in our Austin shop and they are fabricated from our floor boards. This provides an exact match to our floors, but we are not able to match them to non-Stuga floors.

While your floors can be installed in many different ways, your stairs should always be glued down for stability.

Stair nosings are made to order in our Austin shop and typically have a 4-5 week lead time for floors that are in stock. They will always ship separately from your floors. We will send your tracking information as soon as your nosings are on the way!

You are able to butt your floors right up against the top stair nosing. You can even switch the direction of your floors and run them perpendicular to the stairs! In this case, both the nosing and flooring need to be cut square with any locking system or tongue removed so they can meet.

Absolutely! Stairs can be a little tricky to figure out at first so we're always happy to help. Shoot us an email with some measurements and some photos to hej@stuga.com and we'll get everything sorted out for you! Or, call us at 1-844 MY STUGA.
