A Note From Our CEO: We Are Raising Our Prices

A Note From Our CEO: We Are Raising Our Prices

If you’re building or renovating a home, you know that rising costs have impacted the industry significantly over the past year. Despite the impacts to Stuga, we worked to minimize passing on these costs to consumers.

As a direct-to-consumer company, keeping pricing reasonable while offering access to high quality, Scandinavian-designed floors is our priority. We took measures to cut operating costs in order to prioritize fair pricing for customers.

However, raw material costs and freight prices have continued to rise significantly, both abroad and domestically. So, to maintain a healthy business without compromising on quality, we raised our prices.

In all honesty, we hate to do this. We discussed alternatives, but it all comes back to our most essential value: we will never sacrifice quality.

We know and deeply trust our European suppliers; they’ve been working with wood for generations and that expertise comes through in the final products. Your floors are a big investment, and we want you to know that every Stuga floor is going to be beautiful and healthy while lasting a lifetime. We can’t and won’t compromise on that promise.

I am truly grateful to everyone who chooses to make Stuga floors a part of your home. Because you put your trust in us, we will continue to deliver incredible floors. We’ll continue to make every step of the process beautiful. We want you to know that whether you order a Stuga floor today or ten years from now, it will be a level of quality that we would choose for our own homes. We won’t settle for less.

Sincerely,
Marc Bacher
